Flanders – the Netherlands
The CCAM Proving Region is a large-scale, cross-border testing area in Flanders and the Netherlands. Here, companies, governments, and knowledge institutions join forces to test, improve, and scale up CCAM technologies.
Through CPR, parties gain access to test infrastructure, expert guidance, and a collaborative network — enabling them to develop, experiment with, and translate CCAM solutions into real-world policies. Testing will cover everything from virtual simulations to trials on dedicated test tracks and even on public roads.

The first Port of the Future – Autonomous Summit brought together technology companies, port operators and policy-makers to showcase the latest applications, from drones and vessels to container shuttles and trains. The highlight was a Belgian first: the first time a fully autonomous heavy-duty truck has taken to public roads, as demonstrated by Einride in our port.
Mobilidata Proloog can be considered as a first step in the development of the CCAM Proving Region. The closed Lommel Proving Ground offered a safe and controlled environment to trial CCAM before they reach public roads
